Post Valentines Woes in College

As much as valentines’ is long gone, some students still find themselves languishing in its post woes. This is attributable to over-spending during that day just to please someone and get the opportunity of spending the day with them. However, most students in many colleges in the world today took this a little too far splashing off notes, forgetting that they still have a life to live even after the weekend is over. Some of the post valentines’ day problems include lack of money to spend on at least three meals a day. Most students therefore find themselves taking two or even in some situations, a meal a day. However, if they would have just sat back and constructed a budget and a plan, this would have been avoided.

In addition, some of them lack adequate cash to enable them go on with their academic activities successfully, like acquiring handouts and notes that have been posted online via e-mails. At the end of the semester, this will of course be reflected by poor grades which will lower their future chances of securing a good white collar job; what a waste just for a day of love? Money is not the only asset that has been put to jeopardy by stupidity during the day of love. Concentration in class has also been interrupted. Some students still hold on to the memories they had during that day rather than forgetting them and moving on with their semester which is already getting tied up with CATs and assignments. Moreover, some students are still suffering from sexually transmitted infections they contracted from that day. Someone should make an effort to arrest this situation!
